The online library catalogue of the International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering (2iE), based in Burkina Faso, contains about 30,000 bibliographic records. There is also a digital library, which includes a collection of about 100 documents on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH).
BVSDE - Virtual Library on Environmental Health

CEPIS, the Pan American Center for Sanitary Engineering and Environmental Sciences, and REPIDISCA, the Pan American Information Network on Environmental Health, are based in Peru. Their bibliographic databases are part of the Virtual Library on Environmental Health (VLEH), VLEH provides access to all kinds of information sources, including: full text documents, educational material, journals, discussion lists, news, and videos.
Search results are sorted according to these different information sources.

From just one search engine, tap into leading agricultural information databases. Water is a separate set and includes 9 databases to search through. For example: IWMI library; WEDC; medline; Agora CABI . The citations link to the full text of publications if available. The total of databases can searched through in one go, using preselected topic-based ‘QuickSets’, such as ‘water’. It is also possible to select one database to search through.
IRC WASH Library

The IRC WASH Library acts as WASH Sector memory documenting more than 40 years of sector progress, analysis and tools. The library provides direct access to a still increasing number of WASH sector documents. The collection is built around current themes of interest for the WASH sector and also contains documents produced outside the formal channels of publication and distribution.
NGO Forum – Library Information System

Catalogue of some 2,500 books and reports on water and sanitation maintained by the National Resource Centre (NRC) of the NGO Forum for Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation, Bangladesh.
Searchable by title, author, subject and geographical keywords, year of publication and language. Short abstracts are provided, but there a no links to full text documents.
SamSamWater Library

A small database of practical information, data and (GIS) maps on water and sanitation managed by the SamSamWater Foundation, which was set up by a group of Dutch hydrologists. Topics covered include rainwater harvesting, microfinance, surface and groundwater hydrology, and water quality and treatment. As of 28 February 2012 there were 128 items in the library database.
SuSanA Library

This database, maintained by the secretariat of the Sustainable Sanitation Alliance (SuSanA), contains nearly 1,000 documents on sustainable sanitation. Documents can be selected by region, language, setting, SuSanA working group, technology, target audience and document type.
The library page has subpages on conference reports/papers, SuSanA publications, technical drawings, posters and training courses.
UN Documentation Centre on Water and Sanitation (UNDCWS)

This virtual library provides access to recent water and sanitation related publications produced by the United Nations system.
It is available in English www.unwaterlibrary.org and in Spanish www.bibliotecaonuagua.org but publications are accessible in different languages when available (including the 6 official UN languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish).
You can search by theme, region/country, basin, publisher, main purpose, target audience and publication type. You can combine these search criteria using the advanced search function, which also includes a language filter.
UNDCWS is an initiative of the United Nations Office to support the International Decade ‘Water for Life’ 2005-2015/UN-Water Decade Programme on Advocacy and Communication (UNW-DPAC).
UNESCO-IHE Library Catalogue

The catalog contains information on the UNESCO-IHE Library collection, which includes books, journals, lecture notes, M.Sc and PhD theses in hardcopy and digital format. The collection is catalogued and made available for search through the open Library catalogue by OCLC software.
The book collection comprises monographs, serials, congress proceedings, reference books (handbooks, dictionaries), and atlases. Over 25,000 books are available.
